- Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2013I love this mirror. I spent a decent amount of time scouring amazon looking for one and this is what I ended up with. It has 2 different ways to attach and instructions that are simple to understand. We have a headrest, so it was incredibly easy. I can see baby, baby can see me and himself. The face of the mirror is clear and large and it's big enough for me to see in my rearview mirror with him behind the passenger seat. I'm not sure if it would work like that with a large SUV, I have a small car. The only downside I've encountered is that if it is bright out, he'll get a glare off the mirror, usually from the front window. I can fix that by dropping the sunshade on the passenger seat. It's a great mirror and the price was fantastic.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2013We have a Honda Pilot and have had this mirror both in the middle back seat as well as the passenger side back seat. There are many options for how to use this mirror, so it should work in any car at all.
The velcro will attach to some fabric headrests, or you can loop the arm around underneath the headrest and velcro it to itself. It's fully adjustable due to the adjustable strap, velcro and being able to adjust the angle of the mirror so that you can see it from the rear view mirror.
You can even take this mirror out of the car and put it on the ground to use for tummy time with your little one.
I can't imagine not having this mirror, as little one will be rear facing for a long, long time - and being able to see what she's doing, whether or not blankets are covering her face, if she lost her pacifier or if she's asleep or not are priceless!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2013the product was new and in original packaging. when I opened it, and removed the protective film from the mirror, I was disappointed to find that it is blemished. the very center of the mirror has black, smudgy splatter on it. it looks like a collection of little flecks of black paint? the area of this smudge is about 2 inches in diameter. so, if you look at a reflection in the center of the mirror, it's a little cloudy. I tried wiping it off with an eyeglass cloth to no avail. I would have liked have exchanged for another one that wasn't defective, but the cost of exchange shipping is almost $5, over half the product's value.
however, the product serves it purpose- I can see the baby from the front seat. (though the mirror does move around a little and needs to be readjusted). otherwise I would have given it 1 star.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2012The mirror works reasonably well attached to the the middle headrest of our Acura RDX. I don't love it, though. It is large and obstructs a sizable portion of the rear window. It attaches to the headrest awkwardly and is not as secure as I had hoped. Most notably, the mirror is somewhat opaque and distorted and does not provide anything close to the clarity of a regular mirror. I bought this mirror after researching several others and I'm not sure there is a better alternative. Thus, although it gets the job done, it's nothing to be enthused about.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2013I love that I bought this mirror for seeing my little girl while she rides rear facing in our vehicle. I can see her and she can see herself in the mirror as well for entertainment. It makes me feel better that I can check on her when I can't be in the back with her. This is my first child and the mirror is a great piece of mind when traveling. The mirror is not too small or big and it is really easy to install and adjust as needed. My headrests don't adjust up and down, but there is room to slide the strap under the headrest for that form of attachment and it works just fine and is nice and secure. Highly recommend this mirror!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2015I got this mirror for a friend for her baby shower because she requested it and her feedback has been positive. This was less than half the cost of my mirror, and it is a pretty good deal! It is so nice to have a mirror to see your little one in a rear facing carseat while in the car. I find it a very useful accessory, and would call it a modern day baby gear necessity.
This particular mirror is nice because the mirrored part is convex so it gives a nice wide-angle view of your child so you can see everything you need to see. This also has a nice fabric surrounding it so it is soft. It is easy to install as well.
I took off one star because I have the Britax mirror and it positions much easier than this one. This is harder to get tilted compared to the Britax mirror. This makes it so it has to go on the headrest of the seat they are in, whereas the Britax can be set on the seat next to the baby because it swivels. Also, you have to have an adjustable head rest to attach this one, which may not work for several cars.
Otherwise it is a very nice mirror.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2016This Brica baby mirror is the best baby purchase I have ever made! It puts my mind at ease while driving down the road and my baby now loves to look and make faces at herself. It attaches pretty securely to the headrest in my Ford Fusion. I plan to use it until the next baby needs it! What a wonderful invention. Really, there is no need to front face kids until they are over 2 years old! This will help keep them entertained until you can front face, and who knows, they may even make a new friend! It is really nice when your baby starts crying when you are driving down the road and you can look in the back and see that she is okay, she just needs fed and its 3 minutes until home. I can imagine that if I didn't have this, you would see me pulling over on the side of the road a lot because as a first time mother, I constantly worry. Is the seat belt pinching? Is the sun in their eyes? I better feed my baby right this instant. With this mirror, I can see that they will be okay until I get home or to a safe place to pull over and park. Some times, the only reason a baby is crying is because they are tired. You can see they are crying, make a plan, and then check again when all goes strangely quiet, and see that they are peacefully sleeping. Whew. You didn't even have to stop the car.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ottimo
